Merry Christmas

A Merry Christmas to all!
Hope you had a great day celebrating the birthday of Jesus.
Hope your enjoyed your meal, finished your drinks and had enough room for desert.....and atleast a second helping before you went to bed.

Here in the shire we cooked a variety of vegetarian (for yours truly) and none veg food. veg and meat Samosa's, vol-au-vants, nut roast, mushroom gravy with dumplings, chicken, kebabs, chops, all the trimmings, apple strudel, rocky-road....and always a tasty selection of dips with bread and veg sticks for dipping.
The cleaning up after eating is easily the worst thing about christmas day.

A round of boxing day shopping the next with Mr. Someone Special (he purchased a fighty fancy telly for his new flat. I got some bits and bobs from boots, a fancy selection of tins for any cakes and biscuits (if and when i get time to make them)

Last few days have been very expensive. A new sparkle new mac and a new desk to sit it on....as well as a few more purchases. A huge thanks for Mr. Someone Special for his strength, selection skills and company.
I am currently trying my best to tidy and organise things in my room to make space for the new. what to put where? what to keep and give away?

Hope what is left of your 2010 in going well.
Lots of Love

photo fun

So, I went to the gift shop to find a nice christmas gift and ended up purchasing a little toy for myself.
I’ve had loads of fun using it to take photos and it only cost £1.49. Pocket change baby!

Hope your christmas shopping and prep is going well

before the snow....

Half day on Friday meant that I could spend some quality time doing home stuff. After a quick lunch me and mum headed towards the shops, Wilko for toiletries and tesco’s for food. I also purchased a new little watch from one of the stalls outside. £5! Score!
Once we got home I spent some quality time in the kitch, I made chocolate cupcake.....which looked magnificent after 15 minutes, in the 16th minutes they fell GOOD! They still tasted nice ( a bit dry) but I filled each with a little layer of nutella and whipped fresh cream....how's that for moisture!
I spent Saturday with a sister, help in due in january (YEY!) helping her move a few things to her new house and buy lots of bits and bobs for the baby! I also had a change to pop into my big sisters house in the evening, had lots of fun playing my my 15month old niece and eating chinese food....hmmm.

Saturday was rabbit's sisters engagement party .... a HUGE congratulations to little rabbit and your super fella! Wishing you a wonderful life together - full of love and laughter!
