Hope you had a great day celebrating the birthday of Jesus.
Hope your enjoyed your meal, finished your drinks and had enough room for desert.....and atleast a second helping before you went to bed.
Here in the shire we cooked a variety of vegetarian (for yours truly) and none veg food. veg and meat Samosa's, vol-au-vants, nut roast, mushroom gravy with dumplings, chicken, kebabs, chops, all the trimmings, apple strudel, rocky-road....and always a tasty selection of dips with bread and veg sticks for dipping.
The cleaning up after eating is easily the worst thing about christmas day.
A round of boxing day shopping the next with Mr. Someone Special (he purchased a fighty fancy telly for his new flat. I got some bits and bobs from boots, a fancy selection of tins for any cakes and biscuits (if and when i get time to make them)
Last few days have been very expensive. A new sparkle new mac and a new desk to sit it on....as well as a few more purchases. A huge thanks for Mr. Someone Special for his strength, selection skills and company.
I am currently trying my best to tidy and organise things in my room to make space for the new. what to put where? what to keep and give away?
Hope what is left of your 2010 in going well.
Lots of Love
