life feels like this at the moment

Trying to remember this in the rush of planning this wedding...yes there are only 6 months to go, but it was a beautiful HOT sunny weekend and i wanted to embrase it...

Hot weekday included lunch outside on the work bench for 30mins...

As for planning the wedding and everything around it, i want to enjoy it. do you hear me Mr. Someone special!

Made cake (above) because to be honesh the gift i have got for him is LAME! oh my gosh...no idea what to get...not the best start to our lives together. Instead of something he wants i went for something (i think) he needs....i realy don't feel like a good fiance at the moment....hopefully stuffing him full of food and cake tonight will indirectly soften the lame gift

BIG HUGE MASSIVE NEWS

So, this weekend was AMAZINGLY CRAZY!!!
Mr. someone special and I had our engagement ceremony.
It all happened on Sunday, we were surrounded by our dearest friend and family....including Rabbit.
So, I’m engaged to the love of my life....after a good six months of planning it all came together.

All in all I’m feeling happy ...and when pictures do arrive I will post a few.

giving blood

Its been over a year, but I finally gave blood again. I bumped into one of my uncles there who had just received a bronze award for giving blood. He’s been giving blood since he was 18! Wow!
There was a girl who joined us, at first we thought she was so nervous about giving blood that she started listening to her ipod, she was actually listening to a religious chant, something that my God said should be done when giving blood. Your thoughts and vibrations are in the blood and so when someone else receives your blood they receive your thoughts and vibrations...this religious chant is known to have healing properties.

Its a shame I didn’t know this when I was giving blood, I was thinking about food....so the person who will receive my blood in the future may find that he/she suddenly feels hungry....sorry!

Good to know for next time....hopefully next year....6 months after my trip to Canada.

For those who do read and look at this blog SORRY for not blogging over the last four weeks....

I’ve been a bit everywhere – good new, bad news, good times and bad time.

I believe it’s balance.

I celebrated my 26th birthday on the 23rd of April

Next day we received really sad news....my Lord Dear God had left his physical body. Sri Sathya Sai Baba is the shining light that has been in my life, guiding me, keeping me company and truly blessing with with everything in my life. I have been blessed with meeting him, talking to him and being alive whilst He was walking on the earth.
We had a good few days of prayers and religious singing at the temple. It was really comforting to be with my Sai family. With them I’m happy – and I love them so much. I truly feel God has blessed me by allowing me to be part of such a large Sai Family. This bank holiday Monday is the National Memorial and Remembrance Day.
God allows me to continue to serve through graphic design.

On the 29th mr.someone special headed towards London for the Royal Wedding. It was a great day and a good change from the week (above) we enjoyed a 5am start with a drive to Birmigham where we caught our train to London, I had the privilege to sitting in the first class lounge and in the first carriage on the train thanks to mr.someone special’s job...no complaints!

We had a English breakfast whilst moving...and our attendant was funny and charming!

When in London we headed straight toward St.James Park and The Mall....walked amongst those who were there to be part of such a HUGE historical event...and we were there with them!

ok....i'm going to be 26 on the 23rd

i've been acting like bit of a brat this week. I'm not getting my way, people keep changing things and no one is helping me plan things - yes a 25 year old brat!

Feeling really sorry for myself and taking it out on people i love....mum/dad/brother and my fella!

i know i'm doing it....why can't i stop! ahhh!

ok, i'm going to try and stop.

I'm going to be 26, i'm getting married and no one should have to tolorate my attitude....even though they lovingly do!

This is my last year at home and i should really make it a happy positive year that we all look back on and think....2011...good year.

Following this conversation President Obama asked Michelle, “Why was he so interested in talking to you.” She mentioned that in her teenage years, he had been madly in love with her.
